Question by Loretta C: Sold a mobile home “as is” now they want their money back plus…….?
Sold home as is and now just one day after the sale the people want their money back plus $ 500 for “repairs” and time. I told them when they looked at time that the floors needed replaced and that water was not working now they want their money back and for me to pay them for the repairs that they did. All they did was lay plywood ontop of old floor and holes. Do I have to give them their money back plus extra if it was sold “as is” or are they stuck?????

Question by : Not allowed to move mobile home or sell?
I bought a mobile home from arc and financed through origen financial in 2004, well we found a house last yr, great deal, so my mom agreed to takeover the payments mobile home, but to have it moved to her land, so i called origen to see if this was possible, and they said the mobile home could not be moved from the park until its paid in full. So a month later, our loan was transferred to greentree, so i called them and explainded the situation, and they said i could move the home no problem, just let them know the the address and county and tax info, for escrow. So we bought the new house, assuming we could have the mobile moved. so after a yr of my mom making the payments, and paying the lot rent for a home no one was living in, my mom is ready to have it moved so i called the park to let them know we were going to have it moved and they said no, because we signed a contract with origen, thats states the home could not be moved until its paid. So i explained the loan was no longer with origen, it was with greentree and they said we could have it moved and she said it did not matter, the contract still stands. So i pulled out the contract with origen, and it states “i will not move, use illegally, sell, lease or transfer the home” which to me is very crappy. Unfortunately i was a young 1st time homebuyer. Can they really keep me from moving or selling it even though greentree has no problem. When we 1st bought the home, we had planned to have it moved within a yr, and even mentioned it to the seller when we agreed to purchase the home, nobody warned us about not being able to sell or move it. Is this legal, it seems like intrapment to me. What if someone, cant afford the home anymore, and needs to sell, or someone ends up making more money and wants to move, or has to move for what ever reason, alot can happen or change in less than ten yrs. And apparently, theres no options, except stop paying on the mobile home and let their credit suffer. It sound rediculus, i can’t believe its legal. So my question is, am i reading my contract right, or is there a way i can have it moved or sell it, since i am no longer with origen, and greentree is ok with it.
What would happen if we got a eviction notice, could we move the trailor then or would they be able to hold on to it.
Please help

Your Greentree contract supersedes the one with the Mobile home park, and Origen – You should offer a bribe (that’s what the park wants) after all their losing money on the deal, you wanting to move the unit out, and I’ll bet there is a No sub lease on your contract with park. You may be able to work this out, if your town has a Legal Aid – or the last resort – hire your own attorney to suggest a way out of this quagmire.

I do not invest in the stock market. I like to invest my money in something that I can see and touch like real estate. Please respond if you are ready to sell today for Fast Cash. I really like note receivables, I will buy them internationally. But will buy most any type of real estate in Texas if the price is right.
